An apple a day keeps the doctor away. It’s a common adage that the apple a day keeps the doctor away. If you have had even one apple a day for over thirty years, then at least you’re a survivor of that age old saying. But, if you’ve forgotten, it’s never too late to learn. The amazing thing about this super food is that scientists have been studying it for centuries. So, you can actually use its healthy properties today, to keep your body healthy and young looking for a longer time.
Early Enumerators of apple fruit knew that apple products were filled with wholesome nutrients, including vitamins, minerals and fiber. They also knew that the apple, when freshly pressed from the tree, contained more beta-carotene than carrots, was sweeter and had a nutty, sweet taste. Enumerators took note of all these facts and created the apple of their dreams. Apples were cultivated and marketed in America by the Braeburn growers in early eighteen hundreds.
When Apple started selling its products, it was in a limited market and there weren’t a lot of customers. However, the iPod, launched in the third quarter of 2007, changed everything. The iPod not only provided the music play but also provided a media player that connected to the internet. The next big thing was an apple smart phone, the iPhone and apple smart phone applications.
In the following months, the iPhone was the hottest thing on the planet and the apple product line began to grow. At the start of this article, I’m writing about the iPad. Although the competition in the smartphone industry is fierce, it’s still a leader so Apple continues to invest in the development and distribution of apps. The great thing about these Apple devices is that the App Store has hundreds of thousands of applications and many of them can be downloaded for free.
One example of an application that was initially developed for the iPhone is augmented reality. Augmented reality is a technology that combines digital information with real world objects. You may have seen the movies “The Social Network” or “ioned” where the main character is able to identify people in the crowd by what they are wearing, what they are doing, and where they are going. This technology is already in the Apple Watch and it will most likely appear in an Apple iPhone sometime in the future. If you can believe it, an augmented reality interface will soon appear on Apple tablets, as well.
Another application that was originally developed for the iPod is called iSight, which is a camera viewing technology that allows you to see and edit whatever you are looking at with the use of your eye. This technology company, however, later developed “Glide” for the iPhone and iPod. It also worked very well in the Nintendo Wii.
The final product that I want to discuss in this article is called Maps. Many of the augmented reality application developers developed products to work with Google Maps. However, because the iPhone has a larger screen size, they had to make an iPhone version of Google Maps. That is why there are now two iPhones, one with the Google Maps software and one with Apple’s own Maps application. In fact, there are even more versions of the iSight technology that is available for the iPhone, but these are the two main ones.
In conclusion, it looks as if the rumors are true. Apple is working on a new generation of mobile devices. They are calling these devices “obiles” and they will come with their own operating system and the Apple Store. The Apple Store will allow customers to browse through many different applications that are available for the Apple store on the Internet. The development of these types of applications will surely take us into a new era of mobile computing and perhaps completely change how we do everything from using our cell phones to using our computers.
