- RE: iPhone OS 3.0 beta 3 Build: 7A280f released [Appletell]How did you upgrade without knowing it? You cant go back once you are on 3.0. Its in the agreement you accepted when you upgraded, provided you did it correctly. If you give me more information I might be able to help.......
- RE: Hands On: iPhone 3.0 beta [Appletell]Its in the agreement you sign when you upgrade that you CANT go back.........
- RE: iPhone OS 3.0 beta 2 build 7A259 released [Appletell]No that is a generic icon Apple uses to advertise the push notification feature. You will not see it on your phone.
- RE: iPhone OS 3.0 beta 3 Build: 7A280f released [Appletell]I would guess at the WWDC in June but I have not heard anything concrete. We will let everyone know here at Appletell as soon as we know.
- RE: iPhone OS 3.0 beta 3 Build: 7A280f released [Appletell]I have only been able to get google maps to work a couple of times, it usually crashes imediatly after launch. All of the photo editors I use, do work.
- RE: iPhone OS 3.0 beta 3 Build: 7A280f released [Appletell]Several applications do not work, such as wifinder, and memory maker, best I can tell anything that wants to use any part of the core OS is broken right now.
- I must say that I have been through every inch on the 3.0 code. This is not there. Yet......
- Pricey? You get things like iLife that would cost you 500 dollars to put on a PC. I think Mac's are quite the bargain. They don't crash or get as many virus, which also saves money on anit-virus and malware software. If you look at the big picture, I think you would be surprised as to total cost of ownership.......
- Ill be watching intently..........
- RE: Apple to release keyless keyboard [Appletell]Hillarious
- RE: iPhone OS 3.0 beta 2 build 7A259 released [Appletell]Yep. Me too.
- RE: App Stores are doomed, except Apple's [Gadgetell]I don't think the iPhone or the app store have to worry about anyone knocking them out of the top spot. Apple is not a company that needs to be the first, they do pride themselves on being the best. They are.
- I would go back to Verizon in a flat second too if they carried an iPhone..........
- RE: Why does Apple hate numbers? [Appletell]I live and work in a world of numbers being in telecom and I can NOT live without my number pad. If need be when I buy my next iMac i will simply throw away the keyboard.............seems like a waste.
- RE: Safari 4 beta for Windows: First impressions [Appletell]I too am forced to use Windows XP, and have been using Safari 4 for about 10 hours now. First off let me say that the image and the machine that I am forced to use at work are not stellar by any means. My over all first impression however is good. The browser is snappy in all facets save the Top Sites feature, but I blame that on the machine, not Safari. From everything I am reading on the site here it appears I am quite alone in the opinion that version 4 is better than version 3...........
- RE: Safari 4 Top Sites first look [Appletell]This is my favorite new feature in Safari, I must say it is too slow to use on my Windows machine at work, but I have to blame that on the platform itself not Safari.
- I am I the only person who likes Safari 4?
- I have been working with Safari 4 for windows for about 7 hours now and my first impressions are that it is lighter and faster than any version of 3. I would have to say the Top Sites idea is pretty cool but is slow and not worth the wait it takes to launch. I will write a full article on the windows version when I get some more seat time with it.
- RE: Why no WiFi syncing on the iPhone? [Appletell]Its a cool idea although not very practical given wifi speeds in comparison to usb speeds. It would depend on the wifi network being used. Also security issues if you use your iPhone for corporate use like myself. With a strick authentication process it might be cool to try it though.
- RE: iTunes is Apple's worst consumer product [Appletell]Im with Adam. iTunes on my Mac works like a champ with a 60,000 song library. On Windows at work I'm lucky to get it to open at all.
- Great Podcast. Kudos brother.
- RE: Palm Pre...the long-lost iPhone killer? [Appletell]I would like to sit with one of these and play with it for a couple of hours before I make any claims, but I don't think this device is going to turn out to be the one(if there is one) that killed iPhone sales.....................
- I have been on the fence on the new unibody MacBooks, I look forwarded to the unboxing/review...........
- On the January Cover of Macworld is a photo of him 25 years ago in a very stylish suit. He is in obvious control of the reality distortion field back then too.....
- RE: Graphics issues on the new MacBooks? [Appletell]Per the report this was only experienced during game play. I am not able to find any reports involving windows.
