I had the same issue. I had more songs on my iPod then I did on my computer, and I didn't want to lose those songs when I got my new iPod. I find that TiVo is more then enough for me, in terms of home theater needs. I never miss a show, I can rent movies from a rather decent selection, and its all in one package.
