Griffin Technology, maker of all things iPod and iPhone, has announced the general availability of its protective cases and other accessories for the iPhone 3G. Griffin’s case offerings for iPhone 3G include Wave, Nu Form, Elan Form, Elan Clip, and Streamline. Other accessories available for iPhone 3G include TuneBuds, TuneBuds Mobile, SmartTalk and an array of connector cables.

Griffin Technology, maker of all things iPod, will offer four cases for the iPhone 3G next month. The new styles for iPhone 3G include the already popular Wave (pictured above), Nu Form, Elan Form and Elan Clip cases, with more to be available soon.

Griffin Technology is actively working to ensure their current catalog of products for iPhone, including the iTrip® family of FM transmitters, and their entire lineup of power solutions, all maintain Apple certification for iPhone 3G.

Griffin’s new cases for iPhone 3G will be available at major retailers, including Apple and AT&T stores, on July 11, 2008. They will also be available on Griffin’s website in late June 2008.

Price and Availability:  Both currently available, the ClearBoost is $29.99 and the Wave case is $24.99
Rating: ClearBoost 5/10 and Wave case 9/10
Pros: Both cases offered solid protection for the iPhone along with the display.
Cons: A personal issue, but they both make using the Apple dock difficult.
Overall: If you are looking for a solid case or a signal booster, then either of these from Griffin would make an ideal option to consider.

Both the ClearBoost and the Wave case ship with a clear film style protector for the display and also a cleaning cloth.
