Warner Bros., Lions Gate, Paramount to join Apple’s movie rentals
Warner Bros. becomes the latest in a string of signings with Apple for it’s iTunes movie rental service. Paramount abandons HD-DVD
The Financial Times reported Tuesday that Paramount is poised to drop HD-DVD support. This deals a deathblow to HD-DVD and pretty much assures Blu-Ray has Hi-Definition DVD’s future.
