by Bill Stiteler on Jun 3, 2009 at 11:41 AM

With the 2009 Worldwide Developers Conference less than a week away, there’s plenty of speculation of what new products Apple will announce (especially after the dud that was MacWorld Expo). Here’s a roundup of the latest speculation (Snow Leopard, iPhone, Mac Netbook, Mac Tablet, Stevenote) along with the liklihood of… Continue Reading »

Seven days before the Apple keynote at WWDC, several banners have been spotted at the Moscone Center where the event will take place. An emphasis is certainly placed on the iPhone, with every sign and banner featuring icon’s from either popular apps, or upcoming titles. Of course, there’s no obvious… Continue Reading »

by Jake Gaecke on May 17, 2009 at 10:28 PM

Remember the last time Apple said anything about background processes? Yeah, they brushed it off as ridiculous given current battery technology. What a lame excuse. Apparently, they are finally beginning to realize that’s just not going to cut it. TechCrunch, Gruber and Alley Insider have all independently rumored that Apple… Continue Reading »

by Jake Gaecke on Apr 6, 2009 at 11:59 AM

Either Apple is doing what they obviously should by adding 802.11n to the feature list of the next iPhone or someone knows what I want and is making up detailed rumors to make me salivate. I’m sticking with the first. AppleInsider dug up some information pertaining to a new WiFi… Continue Reading »

by Jake Gaecke on Mar 23, 2009 at 05:33 AM

This week’s biggest announcement was obviously Apple’s preview of iPhone OS 3.0. That said, other things happened. I had quite the experience with my new iPod shuffle, and Kirk has another old, hard-to-find Mac game that he wants you to dust off.  And of course, our iPhone Podium stand winner!… Continue Reading »

It’s one of the only things that wasn’t on the long list of new and improved features of iPhone OS 3.0 during Apple’s special preview event: video. But it’s an obvious step forward that consumers are asking for. Other phones can do it, so it’s time for Apple to play… Continue Reading »
