Take our readership survey, win a HDTV
Here at Appletell we are committed to bringing you great content day after day, allowing you to stay in the know about everything Apple. We have opted to offer you all this information for free, by serving various banner ads (and sometimes video ads) across the site. Thankfully there are a few bigger advertisers interested in learning more about you, our readers, so we can offer ads that you may actually be interested in—helping you and helping us.
Please click here to take our readership survey.
Ps. If you fill out the entire survey you can enter for a chance to win a 37” LCD TV, as a thank you from us.

We are looking for a few new writers and figured that there may be no better place to look for Apple-heads than on Appletell itself. With our recent rapid growth we are in need of additional writers to provide regular, high quality, content for the site. To make the cut you must:
- have a strong pulse on the consumer electronics/tech industry—specifically the Apple side of things.
- possess unique/creative writing style.
- be a wizard in the English language (spelling, grammar, sentence structure).
- be able to contribute a minimum of 20 articles (200-400 words per article) per month.
- stay up to date on current news stories and have background knowledge on prior product launches.
- be willing to take an active role in the site including responding to comments and reacting to readers needs and hot topics.
To be considered contact us with “Appletell Blogger” in the subject at Jobs@Dabbledoo.com: please include 2-3 links to previous work (related to consumer electronics) as well as your resume – attachments will not be opened.

Okay, so today was April fools day (duh!) and instead of pulling really lame pranks, we decided to have a retro-day and put a spin on some old products and announcements. Some people took it well, and others took it…not so well. We apologize if you were offended by it, but not much else happened in Apple news today. Plus, we like to have a little fun once in awhile.

Free Singtones for all Appletell readers

Recently we mentioned a service called Singtones that allows you to actually record your signing as a Ringtone. They then make sure your voice is both in tune and in time with the original song and send you your Ringtone.
Well thanks to Rob from Singtones every Appletell reader can now get their very own ‘singtone’ aboslutely free when you enter the promo code: 704955 when you’ve chosen a song to sing. I’m testing this out right now actually. Too bad I sing about as good as Yoko Ono on an off-day. You can give it a shot, and get your very own for free.
Update: The URL we provided previously does not work with the promo code, sorry for that mix up. It has been changed now, so try that promo one more time for your free Singtone!
