Apple TV update 2.0.1
The Apple TV has recently had a major update, Take 2, released last month. Today Apple quietly released a small update for the Apple TV: 2.0.1. Apple generally doesn’t add new features in the minor releases like this, and leaves those for big announcements at Macworld. 2.0.1 is mainly bug fixes and improvements to stability, the only new feature is the addition of genres under “My Movies” - this is a minor enhancement, but makes sorting through your downloaded movies a lot easier with the ability to do so by genre.
With an update like this, you don’t generally expect to find many new features - but if you’re an Apple TV owner and have noticed any other features, please let us know - we may just add it to the post.
