WireWay one day giveaway contest
About a month ago we reviewed WireWay for iPhone and iPod touch, a fantastic arcade puzzle game from Konami. Now, Konami Digital Entertainment has found themselves with a couple promo codes to burn, and asked if we’d like to pass them on to you. Which, of course, we would. You have to hurry, though. The codes expire tomorrow, so enter now.
From my review:
WireWay is a game about Wiley the alien and his quest to find Elan (a precious energy source, not a kidnapped princess). You help Wiley on his way by launching him across a series of suspended wires. Wiley grabs the wires automatically, then you touch and drag down on the iPhone screen to adjust his velocity (a dotted line gives you a visual clue). Lift your finger, and watch the little guy fly up (or over) to, hopefully, the next wire. Reach your ship, and it’s on to the next level.

We’ll make this very simple. To enter to win one of two promo codes (each valued at $4.99), simply leave a comment below. Make sure you’re registered with Appletell, as we’ll need your e-mail address to notify you if you’ve won. We’ll randomly select the winners from all entries at 6:30 p.m. EDT this evening, March 16th, 2010, and immediately send the promo codes via e-mail. Remember, the codes are due to expire sometime tomorrow, March 17th, 2010, so you’ll need to use them quickly. Neither Appletell nor Konami Digital Entertainment will be held responsible for promo codes not claimed on time.
Now, get to enterin’!

OOO, pick me! pick me!
on March 16, 2010 at 01:52 PM - LINKEnter me in the drawing!
on March 16, 2010 at 01:53 PM - LINKNo, Pick me!
on March 16, 2010 at 02:48 PM - LINKI love Konami games! Better still, I love appletell even more ;-) A great day to everyone!
on March 16, 2010 at 02:54 PM - LINKOkay, no more entries. Winners will be notified soon.
on March 16, 2010 at 06:37 PM - LINKthat sucks that you guys did this saying one day giveaway but it’s actually just a few hours giveaway…
so those of us that worked all day long and then had a load of RSS feeds to go thru missed out…and I’m one of them…:(
on March 16, 2010 at 11:46 PM - LINKYeah, we got the codes and had to distribute them in a hurry to make sure the winners had a chance to use them before they expired today. We’ll run more of these, though.
on March 17, 2010 at 06:50 AM - LINKI get the urgency of the giveaway…but I don’t get the title and the timing…so you are saying that they expired at 6-7pm…I doubt that…that is why I made that comment…the title states one day…not a few hours…a few hours would have made me not waste my time to rush to read the article only to realize I was wasting my time
on March 17, 2010 at 10:25 AM - LINKNo, I mean that I wanted to get them sent out by 6:30 to 7:00 so the winners would have time to receive their codes and get them redeemed. Apple told the developers the codes would expire on March 17th, and we wanted to be sure that didn’t mean 12:01 a.m.
Sorry for the confusion with the title. I meant the contest is taking place in one day, not a full day. We don’t want to upset anyone, though, so we’ll discuss turning away app code giveaway requests.
on March 17, 2010 at 10:32 AM - LINKnow kirk your going overboard…I never said you needed to turn away app code giveaways…
I merely mentioned that your title didn’t seem fair to those that are unable to sit and wait to see your articles…granted I am usually the one with time on my hands…but that isn’t the case lately…and if I am too busy to get to the RSS feeds for our beloved Apple then I know there are thousands of others that are unable to…
I’m sorry you took my comments so negatively and personal…at least that is the feeling I am getting from the last message…what I am saying…is a more appropriate title would have given more understanding…
one day to me is 24 hours…at least 8-10 hours as in a work day…so a 5 hour thing was nothing I was thinking when I started reading the article…something more like Limited time afternoon app giveaway…or something more to the terms of the giveaway would have been better for those that are busy and have to skim the titles to decide what is more important to read…
again I’m sorry for upsetting you or making you feel uneasy about this giveaway or others in the future
on March 17, 2010 at 10:39 AM - LINKHey, it’s all good. I’m not upset or taking anything personally, just trying to keep everyone happy.
