“Wheelchair Dude” featured in Apple Dictionary

by Nicholas Montgomery on Mar 11, 2008 at 09:57 AM

Someone, someone was looking up the word “observe”, and found out that the example uses the character, “wheelchair dude.” As a loyal Apple fanboy, I have to admit that I haven’t heard of this, “dude.” Gizmodo is very curious about this character, and has a few questions.

  • Who is this Wheelchair Dude?
  • Does Wheelchair Dude know he is featured in Apple Thesaurus?
  • Where was this vestibule?
  • Why does the narrator of the dictionary/thesaurus always leave out the important details?
  • Is Wheelchair Dude protecting New York City when we are not looking?

Thanks for sharing this observation with the internets Gizmodo, we totally needed this.
