I’ve returned to keep your iPhone clogged and disorganized after syncing, once again. It’s not that I want you to have eight pages of icons that are no longer in any meaningful order. I just want you to be entertained. So, I’ll get right into it.

MotionX Dice - While not completely one to one, MotionX Dice is as realistic as rolling dice will be on the iPhone for some time yet. Shake your iPhone to see the five dice bounce around inside of your phone; makes sense right? It’s supposed to. There are a few designs of dice to choose from, so you can adjust the dice to your liking. After rolling, you can save any number of the five dice, so you can play games like Yahtzee etc. Plus the game uses one of those “grey area” features, in-game rumble. Optionally, you can turn it off to save battery. But why would you want to? Live on the edge!

Tris - An awesome free version of Tetris on the iPhone. What more could you ask for really? Swipe left, right, up or down to have the tretraminos move in that direction. Tap the screen to rotate the block. Tris automatically saves your last unfinished game, so don’t worry about exiting the game, it will be there waiting when you decide there’s nothing else better to do.

Pocketpedia - This is the mobile version of a series of programs for cataloging your collections of movies, music, games, and books. You can add any item that is available on Amazon.com to your collection. It automatically populates much information about your stuff. You can also have several lists, like owned stuff, borrowed/lent, and a wish list, too. The full programs for the Mac are not free, but you can do everything from this app straight on your iPhone for free. Not bad, considering this would be a great tool to remember if you had a certain movie already when you’re at the store.

TiltSnake - Here’s another game where you use the physical orientation of the iPhone to control the motion. This is your basic snake game, with iPhone controls built in. Nothing more to say really, except the controls work rather nicely.

Accel Break - A game where you can use either the accelerometers or your finger to control a paddle to break some blocks. Be warned, breaking all the blocks on the screen only brings more blocks, which you inevitably will need to break as well. Quick note, the controls settings are located in the Settings app on your iPhone, not in the game itself.
