iPhone App Reviews
iPhone Apps. They were great when the App Store was first announced and we could all pick and chose what we wanted, but the number is now overwhelming. Here at Appletell, we'll detail the great iPhone apps we find, and steer you clear from those that aren't worth it even if they're free.
iPhone Game Reviews

Back at Macworld Expo 2010, Telltale Games allowed visitors to vote for which gaming franchise would follow their release of Tales of Monkey Island. Sadly, and despite my vote, Wallace & Gromit didn’t win. Their episodic adventure is still not available on the Mac, but the first episodeThe Last Resorthas now been released for the iPad.
Wallace & Gromit: The Last Resort joins Telltale’s recently released Sam & Max: The Penal Zone and the upcoming Puzzle Agent on the iPad as part of Telltale Games slate of AppStore releases. The games sells for $4.99 in the US and for £2.99 and €3.99 “across the pond.”
Now, you have to understand that I’m a major fan of Wallace & Gromit, and have been ever since The Wrong Trousers made their U.S. debut on PBS back in the ‘90s. I’ve been largely disappointed in their leap from shorts/movies to gaming consoles, but I have to say that it looks as if Telltale has managed to capture not only the look, but also the spirit and sense of humor that make the characters so endearing. This is a game I’m greatly looking forward to playing, and we’ll surely have a review up for you soon.
Until then, learn more about Wallace & Gromit: The Last Resort at Telltale’s website. The game is available now in the iTunes App Store.
