Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, and we’d like to help you out when it comes to iPhone applications to enjoy with your sweatheart. While the Valentine’s applications list on iTunes isn’t very extensive, surprisingly, there are a couple of games worth checking out if want to make the day extra special for that certain someone. Between games, love calculators, and cards, these applications should help set you in the right direction.

Love-O-Matic Pro

This simple application does the most mundane (yet, for some reason, most addicting) process we’ve seen crop up when it comes to Valentine’s Day. As a user, you simply type in the first and last name of both you and your significant other and then calculate the compatibility percentage of your names.

If you’re lucky, it will come out as a high number and you’ll share years and years of love. If not, well, I’m sorry.

StickerJam Hearts

During Valentine’s Day, one of the best things you can do for your companion is let them know you’re thinking about them. For that, this free application may be perfect.

Using backgrounds, stickers, text, and the ability to add your own photos, it allows you to create heart themed valentine messages for your friends, family, girlfriend, or wife. Whether it’s meant to be loving or simply flirtatious, this app may help you out on the 14th.

Create A Valentine

Much like the application above, this free app also allows you to create customized valentine messages for your sweetheart. Using hand created images and hearts from Steve Bjorkman, an award winning illustrator in business for over 25 years, you can construct the perfect message to send.

While it doesn’t appear to have the ability to add your own image, the artwork and message you send could make up for that.

Q?pid Finger Puzzle

More on the game side of things as opposed to sending loving messages, Q?Pid provides a finger twisting game that should be played with “a person you want to get close to” in order to “see where it leads.” Basically, the game has you and that person interact in a sort of Twister for fingers on your iPhone screen.

While I could see this being more practical on the iPad, it could also be entertaining on this smaller device.
