iPhone App Reviews
iPhone Apps. They were great when the App Store was first announced and we could all pick and chose what we wanted, but the number is now overwhelming. Here at Appletell, we'll detail the great iPhone apps we find, and steer you clear from those that aren't worth it even if they're free.

As we have seen over the past few days a lot of new information and options for unlocking the iPhone are starting to surface and now that the unlocked iPhone is here it seems AT;T is looking to put a quick end to the party. It took what seems like way to long (although I am sure it was very hard work) to get an announcement about someone unlocking the iPhone and UniquePhones had been set to publicly release the software that would enable everyone to have an unlocked iPhone, however a 3 AM call from AT&T’s legal team have made them put an indefinite hold on that release. The team from UniquePhones have yet to make any proof of the unlock public and have decided to get some legal advise on whether it will be wise to release this software. With AT&T coming towards them I can understand the delay.
UniquePhones have stated that they would “be evaluating what to eventually do with the software should they be legally denied the right to sell it”. They also realize that a long time delay (something that AT&T would be capable of causing) would “render the unlocking software a less valuable commodity”. I am sure they realize they are not the only unlocking team with a working solution and need some urgency to be the first to market. It would be nice that if they were not able to sell the software if it made its way into the public some other way, after all what good is commercial software if you cannot sell it.
As of Monday the company has suspended adding new additions to its mailing list and promise a clear response over the next few days.
