The Apple Tablet, or bad photoshopping?

Upon first look, this could be a legitimate Apple Tablet. But once you look at it in more detail, a few things stand out at you that make you lean towards a Photoshop job, rather than actual product.
9 to 5 Mac posted the image, and expressed their views of it being a fake. I have to agree with them, and here’s why. First, the shadow for the tablet doesn’t quite match the shadowing you would expect to see around the tablet. If there’s more than one light source present, it’s still possible that it’s real. Otherwise, that’s one strike against it. The second are the reflections from the screen. If you follow the visible line that goes through the middle of the screen, you’ll notice that it continues past the edge of the screen. If this was a final product for an Apple Tablet, I highly doubt Apple would use a reflective material from which to make the body. It would either be plastic or aluminum. The final thing that sticks out at me is again the shadowing for the USB cable. But this time against the iPod Nano. You would expect to see shadowing on the top edge of the iPod, where there is none.
I don’t think Steve Jobs will present this device to the world in June at the WWDC, but it’s possible it could’ve been a prototype of the tablet? An early design that was built to see how it looked as a product? Either that, or the result of a long Photoshop session to get us talking again.
What do you think, fake, or genuine?

Definitely fake. Isn’t that the same screenshot from the Apple Website? So unless someone purposely made their desktop exactly like that then I am saying fake.
on April 13, 2009 at 10:15 PM - LINKFor da luv of gawd! That fake mockup is over a year old! Its bad enough 9to5mac posted this old pic this morning but now others are copying the same old news? Is everyone still asleep this morning or what???!!
on April 14, 2009 at 10:44 AM - LINKthat looks cool, but I don’t think is real or at least not the final product, Apple will NEVER put the power button where it is, that was the first thing I noticed!
on April 14, 2009 at 02:44 PM - LINKIt is 100% fake. I saw the same piccy months ago but without the Nano. Plus the Nano hasn’t been shadowed very well, and the lead connecting to the Nano is even going in at a funny angle if you look closely enough.

Yep, the exact same stack from the Apple website is used in this obviously photoshopped pic
on April 14, 2009 at 04:50 PM - LINKThanks for your replies, you’ve spotted some interesting details - things that, as you’ve said, Apple would avoid.
@Olternaut I now realize the age of the image, but with a tablet once again in the rumor mill, I feel it is still relevant, if at the least interesting.
I’d expect some of the details to be similar to what Apple may release in the summer, if at all.
