Tap Tap Revenge: Nine Inch Nail version hits the App Store

Tap Tap Revenge: Nine Inch Nails
In a strange turn of events, it appears as if my predictions were right; more bands are now releasing interesting, customized apps into the iTunes App Store! This time the app is coming from Tapulous, the makers of the extremely popular Guitar Hero-like game, Tap Tap Revenge. With 13 tracks hand selected by Trent Reznor himself, Tap Tap Revenge: Nine Inch Nails is a “premium edition” of their original game that features a “special Nine Inch Nails theme.”

This game is a great idea for everybody involved, and will do very well in the App Store. Selling for $4.99 (whereas the normal Tap Tap Revenge is free), it will obviously help both Tapulous and Nine Inch Nails make more money. On top of that, it will also help Nine Inch Nails to get their name out there more and grow more of a listener base. Also, although this game is probably much like its original counterpart when it comes to game play, I still wouldn’t be surprised to see it sore to the top of iTunes Top 25 Paid Apps list. Will you be buying it?
