Steve Wozniak to compete on Dancing With the Stars?

Steve Wozniak…the Steve Wozniak…the Woz…is going to be appearing on this season’s Dancing With the Stars. Does the Woz know you can’t do the rumba on a Segue?
The show, which launches its eighth season on Monday, March 9 on ABC, traditionally features B- or C-list celebrities/athletes competing against each other in a variety of dance styles from around the world. There’s no word yet on whether ABC will include “the robot” this year to even the playing field between the Woz and…well, everybody else.
Actually, that’s not at all fair. For all I know, Steve may be a fantastic dancer. I guess I’ll just have to find out next month…when one of you tell me, because I won’t be watching the show.
Viewers may cast their votes for their favorite teams via phone on Monday night during and up to 30 minutes after the “Dancing with the Stars” performance shows. AT&T subscribers may also text message their votes by texting the word “VOTE” and entering the number that corresponds to the team they want to support (standard text message rates apply). Viewers may also vote online at www.abc.com starting from the opening of each episode on the East Coast and until 12:00 Noon, ET the following day.
Steve will be competing against Go-Gos lead vocalist Belinda Carlisle, Jewel, Lil’ Kim, Steve-O (the Jackass guy, not the wrestler, unfortunately), Denise Richards, former football great Lawrence Taylor, and some people I’ve never heard of.
So…uh…good luck, Steve? I think I may actually be pulling for Belinda Carlisle, but only because I was a teenage boy in the 80s. And although Belinda is no Jane Wiedlin, she’s also no…well…Steve Wozniak.
