Steve Wozniak finds a new way to spend his time

by Josh Holat on Dec 22, 2008 at 07:43 PM

Steve WozniakWhen he’s not peeing from his Segway, our favorite innovator, Steve Wozniak, is using his vast technology oriented brain to help advise some of our favorite companies. The latest news surrounding this interesting character involves his new role on the Axiotron Board of Advisors. For those of you who don’t know, Axiotron is best known for their mod of the Apple notebook that turns them into fully working tablet Macs known as ModBooks.  With this new position, Steve joins Larry O’Connor (founder, president, and CEO of Other World Computing) and other popular tech geeks.

As can be imagined, the Axiotron team is very happy about this. Andreas Haas, CEO of Axiotron, said “We’re thrilled to bring Steve onto our Board of Advisors. His deep knowledge and experience are an invaluable resource for Axiotron. Steve’s forward-thinking and non-conformist approach, his incredibly creative engineering designs and his emphasis on the human aspects of technology have always been an inspiration to me.”  Hopefully the addition of this brilliant man can bring even more innovation to the Axiotron ModBook. If it wasn’t totally awesome already, it will be soon.
