Steve Jobs had a liver transplant, to be back within days

by Josh Holat on Jun 20, 2009 at 11:47 AM

Steve JobsThere were reports a while back that Steve Jobs was “healthy and energetic,” but more recent news from the Wall Street Journal is even better. According to them, Steve Jobs “... received a liver transplant in Tennessee about two months ago ...” and is expected to make his return later this month as initially declared by Apple. However, they do point out that it may only be part time, at first.

The best news in this story is that Steve Jobs’ health has somewhat recovered from what it was. I hope his time off was relaxing and helpful to both him and his family, as it is never good to see someone go through the issues he has had to face. I’ll be glad to see him back at Apple…although there aren’t any keynotes coming up at which we will be able to see him speak.
