Steve Jobs’ Amazon account hacked?
A hacker by the name of orin0co has contacted some of the people over at Cult of Mac claiming that he has gained access to Steve Jobs’ Amazon account. This information, which the hacker is attempting to sell to the media, includes a history of over 20,000 purchases in the last ten years.
In his e-mails with this journalist, the hacker claims, “I got myself a hold of this information. No one else has it. I didn’t misuse it, otherwise Mr. Jobs would long ago change his login detail, wouldn’t he? Imagine how safe Mac is if you can trick the mighty Steve Jobs.”
For this hacker to be making this claim is somewhat intriguing. For one, going after Steve Jobs and Apple seems like a pretty risky move. Second, there is almost no proof whatsoever that this hacker actually figured this out. He has given out screen shots, but those can very easily be faked in almost any photo editing application. Amazon has spoken saying that this, being a result of a phishing scam, is highly unlikely because of the methods they have put forward for their users to stop these scams. Apple isn’t talking as usual, but I personally am not believing this one.

Ummmm… who gives a crap.
Amazon info is like having the ingredients to oat cereal…. there is nothing there anyone could care about.
And to sell it? Is this an Ebay thing? I doubt seriously that, if true, that Jobs would keep his CC info on file. And we all know where he lives. So what if he bought a Roomba… who hasn’t?
Some people have nothing better to do and this is a big loser.
