Starbucks ordering concept design

QuickOrderThere have been patents filed by Apple to furthermore extend their partnership with Starbucks. “In an application with the U.S. Patent Office filed on Dec. 20, the Cupertino, Calif.-based computer and gadget company described a wireless system that would allow customers to place an order at a store using a wireless device such as a media player, a wireless personal digital assistant or a cellphone.” In the system you would simply choose the drink you want to order from your iPhone and then you would be notified when it is ready.

Some recent mockups discovered by MacRumors show that Apple & Starbucks may be working on something called “QuickOrder”. The mockups basically show
a visualization of the patent filed above. I think it looks really good, and is going to be one of the smaller things announced at this year’s Macworld. Check out the pictures at the link below.
