GarageBand is introducing basic lessons. It’s never been easier to learn to play the piano and guitar right on your Mac. You can follow along at your own pace that teaches your lessons through the HD video instruction, synchronized notation and animated onscreen instruments. Go through a series of nine lessons that will prepare you to play the entire song. You can slow it down or repeat any part you want until you’ve got it right. When you’re more comfortable you can play a romantic song for your girlfriend or practice your skills with a complete virtual band.

What woman wouldn’t love for her boyfriend or husband to write and record especially for her? There are so many different things you can do with this program, so skip the sappy card and over-priced chocolate, and create something your Valentine will never forget.

With iMovie you can create your own home movie for that special someone. Whether it’s your wedding, an anniversary or just a video of your date at the beach, you can make any memorial moment special just by creating your own home movie to burn onto a blank DVD so you guys can watch it anytime you’d like. iMovie is easier than before, just drag-and-drop and edit your movies. You can now add more clips to your projects and insert or replace a pop-up menu.

Photos are very important to everyone. With iPhoto ‘09 you can organize all your photos based on who is in them. That makes it easy for you to add names to your photos. And, it helps you find the people you’re looking for, even if your photo libraries are large. It’s the easiest way to organize and create a special slide show with your favorite photos to recreate those special memories.

Once you’ve added names, just click the Faces view to see the corkboard that will have a snapshot for each person you’ve named. You can even flip the snapshot to add a person’s last name and Facebook ID.
