Share the love this Valentine’s Day on your iPhone
Let’s face it; when it comes to Valentine’s day, we geeks may have a hard time figuring out what our significant others want. Of course you could use your iPhone to simply call that person and have a nice conversation, but that’s too easy. Thankfully, there is a surplus of Valentine themed iPhone apps via the App Store for you to choose from. For an easy way to show how much that person may mean to you, you could sneakily take the iPhone and download a Valentine’s Day application, write a lovely message, and then leave it for him/her to see next time he/she uses the phone. Now, the only question is, what apps should you get?
- Candy Valentine Hearts Everybody knows and loves those yummy Valentine hearts that are so popular around this time of the year. With their cute messages, they are perfect for the times. However, with this application, you will be able to create your own Valentine heart candy with personalized colors and messages. On top of that, you are also able to save the image to the photos on your phone. That means you will be able to surprise your loved one with a nice e-mail during the day.
- iFlirt - If you don’t have a significant other, but you want one, then iFlirt is a perfect app for you. This application is a user driven database of pickup lines and dating tips that can help you stay on top of your game while on the go. Hopefully, this app can help you with the girls/guys this February 14th.
- Love Songs - 100 Greatest of All Time - The perfect way to get yourself into the Valentine’s day spirit, this application allows you to view and play the “100 greatest love songs of all time.” They are perfect for setting the mood and getting your groove on with your significant other. The songs can also be purchased from the application.
- Valentines Recipes - Don’t know what to cook this Valentine’s day? This application offers a list of 15 different recipes for you to prepare. All that’s left for you to do is set the table and lights the candles.

How about singing love songs while playing on an iPhone musical instrument?
I created the Chordica app for this type of scenario, where it’s easy to create the accompaniment to any song you want to sing. Do check out the compilation of song sheets I’ve done up specially for this Valentine’s Day for the Chordica.
