SingTel publicizes pricing plans for upcoming iPhone Release

by Mark Rowland on Aug 20, 2008 at 03:14 PM

3giphonesingaporepricingplanIn anticipation of the August 22nd iPhone release, the sole service provider for the iPhone in Singapore, SingTel, has officially announced the five available plans for the device. There are seven plans in all, with prices ranging from $26 to $205 per month. The iFlexi plans—unlike the iOne, iTwo and iThree plans, despite having bundled voice and data plans—are more expensive then their counterparts, and are only available until the 5th of September. For $20, one can add 500MB of local data to one of the non-iFlexi plans, and overages come in at a steep $2 per megabyte. As for the price of the actual iPhone, the 8GB version ranges from $700 to $0, depending on the value of the plan purchased, and the 16GB version ranges from $850 to free. The cheapest plan, the iOne Plus, costs $26 per month, and the actual device will set you back $700 and $850 for 8GB and 16GB, respectively.

Check out the pricing charts after the break.
