Psystar “definitely still shipping” its Mac clones.

by Adam Fisher-Cox on Aug 15, 2008 at 04:59 PM

Open Computer
On Wednesday, Psystar, the company now famous for cheap Mac clones, posted a note to its website stating that even during its ongoing lawsuit from Apple, it will still be shipping Open Computers.

Recently, our sales team has received several inquiries as to whether or not our systems are still available. Psystar is definitely still shipping Open Computing products and we’ve introduced our restore utilities to enhance the computing experience for our customers at no extra cost. We strive to provide the best computers we possibly can and are actively improving all of our products taking all your valuable feedback into consideration.

The Psystar saga began when it came out of the blue in April, claiming to sell Mac-compatible computers. After initial dobts, it has since proved itself as a purveyor of Mac OS X-installed, working (albeit loud as heck) machines. After months, Apple sued Psystar, who, despite initially seeming to submit, has said they will fight Apple.
