Limit Point Software has released a new utility for the public that they are calling PhotoTiles. This donationware application allows you to create a tiled image of images. Furthermore, it allows you to alter the dimensions and sizes of the images and of the array. You can even choose whether or not you want it to show the file names. Once you have these variables set, simply drag and drop the images you would like to use and let PhotoTiles do all the work.
Head on over to the product page for a nice how-to and a bunch of helpful screen shots. Since the app is universal binary, it will work on both PPC or Intel based iMacs that are running Mac OS X 10.4 or higher. If this app isn’t for you, you can check out some of the other applications and utilities they offer. They have quite a few to choose from, so they are bound to develop something that will be helpful to you.
