Online iPhone app simplifies Wikipedia searches

by Kirk Hiner on Jun 30, 2008 at 12:24 PM

PowersetPowerset has a new optimized-for-iPhone version of its search and browse experience for Wikipedia. Now that Apple has lowered iPhone prices, more and more consumers are poised to be using their iPhone to search Wikipedia. According to Powerset, the feature set for on-the-go browsing makes it “...the best way to currently search and read Wikipedia on your iPhone.”

Apple may agree, apparently. Though they usually change their featured Web Apps daily, Powerset was featured for two consecutive days once it was launched.

If you have an iPhone, you just need to go to www.powerset.com and it will work automatically.
