Obama is a Mac user
![]()
Whether you like him, hate him, or are indifferent, Barack Obama, uses a Mac. That has to say something about our President elect. In no way should this have weight on whether to vote for someone, but it is kind of cool. He does use a Research in Motion Backberry as a mobile device, but still…
We all know Obama is going to be a younger President. Maybe a little inexperienced. Maybe a little “green.” The fact that he uses Macs also tells me that he is tech savvy, something we could not have said about Presidential candidate John McCain, who stated at one point that he did not know how to send an e-mail. I spent four years of my life defending the United States of America, and I feel slightly better knowing the Mac will be used, even if it’s sparsely, in Washington.
How do you feel about it?

BTW, McCain also has a Mac. As well as Rush Limbaugh, Karl Rove and Russian President Dmitry Medvedev.

Recent presidents have been told not to email so as not to create inconvenient evidence. Hence, the issue about whether he will have to break his Crackberry addiction.
He has said that in spite of the PRA he will have a laptop on his desktop in the Oval Office. Based on his recent history of computer use, it appears that Apple gets about the biggest plug imaginable.Talk about product placement!

on November 19, 2008 at 07:21 PM - LINKAlso, our not so beloved president (I personally don’t like her AT ALL), Cristina Kirchner owns a Macbook Air that Carlos Slim gave to her. I placed a link in the URL field, but here’s that link again: http://bp1.blogger.com/_Pr-jy1u6YXE/SDIOjdY0QfI/AAAAAAAABFE/p6hVAUggevA/s1600-h/5.jpg. Doesn’t she look like Snoopy?
