Tutorial-video vendor macProVideo.com, in conjunction with Apogee and Universal Audio, has launched a remix contest with Olav Basoski. I don’t know much about this Olav fellow, but I’m told he’s an influential artist in the dance music industry, having produced hundreds of hit records. Regardless, the contest offers participants the opportunity to take an original Olav Basoski mix and make it their own. And, more importantly, to win a MacBook Pro.
Contestants will download a song by Olav, and then use their preferred DAW (digital audio workstation) to create a remix. The best remix (as judged by macProVideo.com in conjunction with Olav Basoski) will win a Logic Studio workstation that includes the following items:
