Macintosh

  • Ohanaware has announced HDRtist 1.1, a free update to their HDR Photography software for Mac OS X. HDRtist creates HDR photos and tone maps them in a single step. Its workflow has been designed to be effortless in operation, and to provide visually pleasing results. Version 1.1 not only includes some bug fixes, speed gains but also Automatic Image Alignment. HDRtist is a great tool to have for dramatizing dull photos, livening dark photos and much more.
  • iPresentee has released Keynote Motion Themes 8.0 for Apple’s Keynote presentation software. New Keynote themes package includes: Brilliance, Shining Waves, DNA Chain, Space Drops and Live Mosaic themes. Each theme consists of different high quality animated backgrounds and features up to 22 different layout schemes. Creating the right design is the first step to a perfect presentation. These templates can be used for business presentations, slideshows, seminars, and for school lectures.
  • be.ez has announced the LE rush notebook bag collection custom-fit for MacBook Pro 13.3” and 15.4” models. The LE rush features a lightweight, slim, and stylish design available in 3 color choices: LE rush Black Coffee, LE rush Lime Park, and LE rush Lagoon Dream.
  • Zevrix Solutions has announced BatchOutput DOC 2.0.6, an update to its popular output automation solution for Microsoft Word on Mac OS X. In addition to batch printing, the software allows to carry out powerful professional PDF production directly from Word eliminating the need for time consuming post-processing. Users can split Word documents into single PDF files, reduce file size and optimize resolution and compression. The new version introduces support for Mac OS X Snow Leopard.

iPhone/iPod

  • Spinal Apps has announced Pairopix, a customizable game of matched pairs. This take on the ubiquitous game of concentration adds a personal touch with customizable image sets from your iPhone / iPod Touch Photo Albums and/or your iPhone’s camera.   • Insurgent Games has announced that Skeleton Key, a unique iPhone puzzler, has been updated and is available in the App Store today. The update includes OpenFeint integration, bringing global leaderboards and achievements to the game, and it now has support for iPhone OS 2.2.1, for iPod Touch users who haven’t upgraded.
  • Intego has released their important November 11, 2009 Security Memo. Intego has identified this as iPhone/Privacy.A, allowing hackers to connect to any jailbroken iPhone whose owners have not changed the root password. Hackers using this tool will install it on a computer, then let it work. It scans the network accessible to it, and when it finds a jailbroken iPhone, breaks into it, then steals data and records it.
  • Galarina has released free versions of GeoLogTag and PhotoToMac for iPhone and iPod Touch. GeoLogTag offers an all-in-one geotagging solution for photos taken with any digital camera. GeoLogTag Free keeps logged locations for 2 hours instead of 90 days. PhotoToMac transfers photos taken with an iPhone and saved photos over WiFi to a Mac shared folder. PhotoToMac Free transfers the photos with a lower resolution than the full version.
  • Man0mio has announced the re-launch of the Commodore 64 Emulator, developed in corporation between Manomio, Commodore Gaming and Kiloo ApS. It features original Commodore 64 game graphics and SID sound, auto-save, realistic joystick and beautifully crafted C64 keyboard, portrait and landscape play, vertical and fullscreen gaming (auto rotate for iPod users), unique retro-feeling gameplay, and eight classic games with more on the way.

  • PressOK Entertainment has announced the first major update for the America’s Next Top Model iPhone game.   • 2XL Games has announced that both of their award-winning mobile offroad racing games have received updates. 2XL ATV Offroad has been upgraded to version 1.01 and 2XL Supercross has been upgraded to version 1.1 and both continue to feature incredible graphics, tight controls and dirt-shredding action.
