Macintosh

  • Jumsoft has has expanded their Goodies bundle—a collection of applications and designs available from company’s Web site free of charge. Five new iWeb themes were added to the set, allowing Mac users to explore new ways of expressing their identity and message. Jumsoft iWeb themes enable users to compose their Web sites effortlessly with a broad range of design options. All themes are created by a team of professional designers, and enriched with original details to evoke a variety of moods.
  • MacUpdate’s Spring Bundle is drawing to a close with less than 24 hours left for buyers to take advantage of the offer and score more than $500 worth of top Mac software for just $49.99. Since launching on May 28, nearly 40,000 Mac users have taken advantage of the opportunity to buy Parallels Desktop 4, TechTool Pro 5, and nine other great applications at a savings of more than 90%.
  • MacEase Software is pleased to announce that the time the first bundle released by TheMacBundles will be available is being extended by one week. Sales of the bundle this week have grown which demonstrates that many Mac users are just now becoming aware of the bundle, so it’s been decided to make the bundle available for one additional week.
  • Toolsfactory Software today announced the release of rubiTrack 1.6.1, a GPS enabled activity tracking software for the Mac. Utilizing latest Mac UI technologies, rubiTrack lets you display, analyze and organize your outdoor activities. rubiTrack is for runners, bikers, walkers, hikers, skiers and everyone else who logs GPS data. rubiTrack reads tracks from GPS enabled devices like the Garmin Forerunner, Garmin Edge, AMOD GPS Trackers, Nike iPod and the iPhone 3G.
  • CoreMelt has announced the release of ImageFlow FX V2 2.1, alongside all new video tutorials and a special bundle deal with Singular Software’s PluralEyes. ImageFlow FX V2 2.1 now allows you to create montage animations even faster, and with more flexibility. Instantly create montage animations from folders of images or movies, 25 different animation styles to choose from, 4 which are completely free.   • Global Delight has announced that their Voila screen capturing and annotation software has been nominated in two categories for the prestigious 2009 Macworld Awards. The awards recognize the most innovative and successful products developed for the Mac community. Voila has been nominated for Macworld Editor’s Choice Awards: Best consumer software and Readers Choice Awards: Best Software

iPhone/iPod

  • Griffin Technology, Inc., has announced new and updated cases for iPhone and iPod touch. Reveal and Elan Form with Sky Blue Trim, both for iPhone 3G, are now available in stores nationwide in time for the June 19th release date of Apple’s new iPhone 3G S. Griffin’s entire line of iPhone 3G accessories, including the new cases above, are available for both the new iPhone 3G S and iPhone 3G. Other cases announced are Reveal for iPod touch, Elan Passport Metal, and FlexGrip, all designed for the current iPod touch 2nd generation.
  • Steampulp Publishing LLC today released Steampunk Tales #1, its first electronic pulp fiction magazine created exclusively for the iPhone and iPod Touch. Emulating the style of the pulp adventure magazines of the 1920s and ‘30s, Steampunk Tales #1 contains first-run and original fiction written by award-winning authors. Issue #1 contains 10 short stories. Authors contributing to Issue #1 include Jay Lake, Catherynne M. Valente, SatyrPhil Brucato and G.D. Falksen.
