Macintosh and iPhone software updates Macintosh and iPhone software updates and announcements for September 5, 2008:

  • Global Delight has released a major update to Web2 Delight, their utility for transferring videos and photos from the Internet to Mac, iPods and iPhones. This release includes new feature additions, several UI tweaks and enhancements on the existing feature set.
  • MyWeather, LLC has announced MyWeather Mobile, a weather information application for iPhone. For years we’ve been able to access high-quality weather maps, current conditions and forecasts via television or the web. MyWeather Mobile, a top selling application available in Apple’s App Store, allows users to access this information on the go, and also provides full screen interactive radar.
  • Phelios, Inc, an independent game and software developer, has announced the release of a new game called, iSnap, made for iPhone, iPod Touch and Mac OS X. iSnap was created with the popular SDK called PTK, which was altered to specifically make iPhone games. PTK for iPhone will be released in the near future for developers interested in creating iPhone games.
  • Synium Software has announced the immediate availability of StuffRadar 1.2. This new version is a free update to Synium’s popular media organizer for the iPhone and iPod touch. StuffRadar tracks your Music CDs, Movies, Books and Games. StufRadar finds the titles you own, and those you still want to buy. Everything, detailed information, personal rating and price is intuitively presented.
  • The Flash on Tap Conference today announced four limited attendance all-day workshops for Flash designers and developers taking place in Boston at the Park Plaza Hotel and Towers. Top Instructors offer deep-dive into PaperVision3D, AS3, Red5, and Flash Animation to Flash on Tap attendees October 7-9 in Boston. Early bird pricing ends September 7th at midnight EST. A limited number of passes are available for non-conference attendees.
