  • Those who are already familiar with The Stone of Destiny, the popular hidden-object game, will be delighted to discover that it is now available for iPhone and iPod Touch. Those who are not now have a perfect chance to fill this gap and try out the first hidden-object game for iPhoneOS.
  • Prosoft Engineering, Inc. has announced the immediate availability of Drive Genius 2.1, with the new DriveSlim feature.
  • Arten Science has announced macVCR, which allows you to record what happens on your computer screen to a Quicktime movie which you can then replay later at your leisure. macVCR doesn’t require any form of installation, just double click the Icon and the program will launch. Specify the recording length, adjustable compression quality, choice of Codecs, specify frames per second and more.
  • Information Appliance Associates, creators of industry-leading mobile sync solutions, has announced the release of the PocketMac for iPhone, the first and only Macintosh tool that gives iPhone users new bold options for synching.
  • RingtoneFeeder has announced archive access to its popular iPhone ringtone subscription offering. The new service, which requires an existing active annual subscription, is a one time activation fee of just $9.98 (USD) which will instantly grant access to all ringtones released by RingtoneFeeder in two separate feeds - one for vocal ringtones and one for instrumentals.
  • You Software has announced the immediate availability of You Control: Desktops 1.3, its powerful virtual desktops manager for the Mac. You Control: Desktops provides superior customizability of the workspaces. Users can set custom backgrounds and have a unique set of files per workspace, making it much easier to segment tasks on different workspaces. This update includes support for Mac OS Leopard and added options for customizing how the desktops work.
  • publicspace.net has announced the immediate availability of The Big Mean Folder Machine 1.4.5, their easy to use file/folder management utility. This latest release adds several new folder creation options.
  • Yazsoft has released a major new update to ShareTool. Developed for Mac OS X 10.3.9 or later, ShareTool lets you access all of the Bonjour services on your home or office network from anywhere in the world securely over a 100% SSH encrypted connection. This includes iTunes Music Sharing, Screen Sharing, File Sharing, printing, and much more. No configuration. No complication. No server or technical skills required. Just a mouse click.
  • REAL Software is now shipping REALbasic 2008 Release 4. This release further focuses on REAL Software’s commitment to improve stability and reliability in REALbasic. REALbasic 2008 Release 4 includes over 300 improvements and 6 new features. REALbasic is a full-featured software development environment suited to creating a wide range of applications, from utilities to enterprise-class applications.
  • Proporta have designed the Perfora Case with the iPhone 3G specifically in mind. This stylish case not only enhances the aesthetic of the device (even if we do say so ourselves), but will also keep your iPhone 3G fully protected from all of life’s little nasties.
  • DEVONtechnologies, LLC has released free updates for all editions of its information manager DEVONthink, as well as for the intelligent note-keeper DEVONnote. The updates re-enable email import on Mac OS X 10.5.5 and deliver a maintenance update for the built-in scan software. DEVONthink Pro Office 1.5.4 comes with a new version of ExactScan Capture and a slightly faster web server as well as an updated Apple Mail plugin for Mac OS X 10.5.5.
  • Wonder Warp Software has released a major update to its ShoveBox productivity software. ShoveBox offers Mac users a way to capture and process scraps of information. Running in the menubar, it’s designed to be unobtrusive and omnipresent. It allows the user to configure rules for automatically organizing incoming information.
