  • Leon ter Linden Concepts & JDI strategics have launched their first application for Apple’s iPhone. Mixing Faces lets you combine two faces to create one new face. The application is available in Apple’s iTunes Store for the price of $0.99. Want to know what your kids may look like when they are grown up? Mix two photos from your iPhone’s camera or photo library and mix them into one new pretty face!
  • Flytunes’ application for the iPhone and iPod touch is now available in the App store with a lot of great new features. FlyCast Mobile allows you to pause live on all stations, skip songs, surf the web with their embedded web browser, and listen to any channel in the shoutcast directory. They’ve also added some brand new FlyCast features such as Streamahead, which allows users to listen to a channel even when there is no connection, and Top of the Hour, which allows latecomers to talk radio to jump back to the top of the hour.
  • For years, Black Jack Pro has been one of the most acclaimed Blackjack games for mobile devices, ranging from Windows Mobile platforms to BREW phones on major carrier decks. But now it is time beat the house for good, as the award-winning title Black Jack Pro is now available for the iPhone and iPod touch.
  • Stone Design today shipped a major update to Twittelator Pro, a feature packed native iPhone Twitter client. With many expert features including multiple accounts, Trending Topics, and Nearby Search for Tweeters, Twittelator Pro is the culmination of the expanding Twittelator customer base’s wishes, desires and bug fixes. Version 1.3 fixes issues with Apple’s iPhone/iPod Touch OS 2.1 which affect previous versions of Twittelator.
  • Celmaro has announced the release of Webbla 1.1, an application for Mac OS X Leopard to manage bookmarks visually. Webbla automatically creates webpage thumbnails for each added bookmark and display them in a list or grid view. Bookmarks can be personalized with tags, rating and a description, organized in collections and smart collections, and opened with different web browser.
  • September sees the launch of MacSupportJobs, a new website specializing in the recruitment of Apple Mac support, development and sales professionals from around the world. Jobseekers can easily register with the site and be kept up-to-date with the latest jobs via email or rss feed. Registered jobseekers can also maintain an online profile to quickly apply for vacancies and allow potential employers find them.
  • Bare Bones Software has announced the release and immediate availability of BBEdit 9.0.1, an update to its professional strength HTML and text editor. The BBEdit 9.0.1 update is a maintenance release that fixes reported issues and introduces an “Open in Additional Window” command for browser windows.
  • Macgamestore has announced it has begun offering The Game of Life - Path to Success for the Macintosh. The game is published by Real Arcade.   • WaterField Designs has announced Ultrasuede Suede Jacket cases for Apple’s upgraded iPod nano and iPod Touch announced Tuesday. Each case is custom-fitted to the respective iPod dimensions and can double as a screen cleaner. The ultra-slim cases are designed for scratch protection, accessibility and style.
