Macintosh and iPhone software updates and announcements for November 24, 2008:

• Thoughtful Tree Software has introduced TunesBar 2.0, an iTunes extension for the Mac’s Menu Bar. Using TunesBar, users can quickly and easily glance in their menu bar to see what the title, artist, or album of the currently playing iTunes track is. This menu bar item is configurable in terms of which of these three pieces of info is displayed, and in what order, and the text is also dimmed when iTunes is not playing.
• Utah based Fiery Ferret is pleased to announce Lumen 2.3, an update to their relaxing puzzle game for iPhone and iPod Touch. This Cipher Text can then be copied into an email, saved as a file and attached to an email or just copied elsewhere and the recipient can use R10Cipher to open the file and view the encrypted contents, assuming they are in possession of the Shared Key that was used to encrypt the document in the first place.
