Macintosh

  • .com Solutions, Inc. has released FmPro Migrator Developer Edition 4.74. FmPro Migrator Developer Edition 4.74 instantly converts FileMaker Pro layouts into HTML/Javascript web pages. The generated HTML files are suitable for use as a starting point for developing database enabled web solutions using graphical development tools. FmPro Migrator Developer Edition enables FileMaker developers to realize productivity gains by re-purposing layouts from existing solutions into new web solutions.
  • Ergonis Software has announced KeyCue 4.4, the company’s popular keyboard shortcut cheat sheet. In addition to keyboard shortcuts for application-specific menu commands and Keyboard Maestro macros, the new version adds support for system-wide hotkeys. KeyCue also includes a number of other improvements and fixes, like support for function keys F16 to F19 on aluminum keyboards and improved display of shortcuts that include the space bar.
  • Mien Software has released MediaEdit 3.1.5 for the Mac, a consumer-level video editing tool which supports standard painting tools and multiple layers. Designed specifically for moviemakers, amateur photographers and new creative artists, MediaEdit 3 can edit virtually all QuickTime compatible formats. This update improves stability.
  • Zevrix Solutions has released BatchOutput Server 4.1.5, a maintenance update to its output workflow automation solution for Adobe InDesign. The software automates printing and exporting to PDF and PostScript by processing InDesign files from network-based hotfolders. BatchOutput Server frees up operator stations from the output process saving companies countless hours that are lost each year. The new update improves the auto-updating of modified links in InDesign documents.

iPhone/iPod

  • locr and Houdah Software have announced the immediate availability of LocrUpload for iPhone and iPod Touch. The app allows users to upload photos right from where they are to the popular geo tagging community locr. Locr is a popular geo tagging photo community specialized in travel photography, which localizes photos and visualizes the location on street maps and satellite images. The free program can be downloaded from the Apple AppStore.
