  • In order to expose the world to the most advanced Speed Trap notification system for the iPhone, Njection LLC has dropped the price of NMobile until version 1.1 is released. NMobile 1.1 is a major update unleashing the full power of the iPhone and location based mapping services. Version 1.1 will have new requested features along with Njection Mobile exclusive features. Individuals who buy NMobile now will get the 1.1 update free of charge.
  • Universal Electronic Accessories (“Uniea”) wrapped up its promotional efforts at this year’s Macworld Expo, declaring tremendous success in promoting its brand name and newest products to an American audience. Uniea’s display, together with the added exposure of being a major sponsor at Macworld 2009, brought a steady cavalcade of visitors by its booth, attracting a wide array of attendees, ranging from distributors, resellers, and professional tech writers to everyday consumers and Mac enthusiasts.
  • Dare to be Creative Ltd. has announced the release of SlidePad 1.0, a note-taking application for Mac OS X Leopard. SlidePad allows users to quickly and unobtrusively write down notes, thoughts, and ideas on a notepad that slides in from the side of the screen. SlidePad offers rich-text editing, such as adding fonts and graphics, as well as customizations such as setting the keyboard shortcut to slide in the notepad.
  • Portable Arts popular Grossinator application is holding the first ever Best Audio Prank Contest called “I’m An iPhone Grossinator.” The contest will showcase videos posted to YouTube of Grossinator users pranking their friends. The I’m An iPhone Grossinator Contest will run through Jan 31, 2009, and all submissions will be posted on the Portable Arts YouTube channel. Winner of the best video, as rated by YouTube watchers, will receive a Free Portable Flip Video camera.
  • Pubblog.com has announced the release of MailSteward, MailSteward Lite, and MailSteward Pro, version 8.0.9. This version adds the ability, after a Search or a Browse of your email database, to export a text file list of email addresses, either just the to addresses, the from addresses, or both. MailSteward Pro now has additional documentation about configuration of the software to enable organizations to meet Federal requirements for keeping accurate, accessible email archives.
  • Smule, the acclaimed developer of interactive sonic applications for the iPhone, never rests. Fresh from MacWorld, Smule today released an update for Zephyr, an application where you write messages with snow on your screen and then anonymously release them to the virtual world. These messages ultimately appear on the screens of iPhone users across the globe.
