  • Alta Vida LLC has announced Babelingo 1.3.3, their language translation utility for iPhone and iPod Touch. Containing more than 300 useful phrases in 11 languages, Babelingo is an easy-to-use phrase book communicator, allowing anyone to show a professionally translated phrase to a foreign language audience. Phrases are displayed in a large and beautifully rendered script, easily read from a distance. Version 1.3.3 includes professionally translated phrases in the Russian language.
  • Aspyr Media has announced the release of FriendZoo (App Store link), the company’s second iPhone App.  FriendZoo, priced at $2.99, livens up your address book by turning each of your contacts in an animal in a zoo exhibit. In addition, Buggled (App Store link), a multi-touch game of finger twister for your iPhone, has been discounted to $0.99 for a limited time.
  • Cyril Anger has announced the release of version 3 of the free, personal finance application iCompta, and its iPhone version, for sale on the AppStore. Both versions can be synchronized easily with a wifi connection.
  • Softpress Systems has launched version 5.3.1 of Freeway, its award-winning website design software. This latest update includes a full Japanese localization as well as some enhancements and bug fixes. The Japanese version is available now in both Freeway 5 Express and Freeway 5 Pro multi-language downloads from the Softpress website.
  • Positive Spin Media has announced Pandora 2.4, an update to the media collector’s web spider and search agent for Mac OS X. For version 2.4, Pandora has be re-tuned and is firing on all cylinders; this release features speed increases of 30-50% for spiders and 10-20% for search agents. More speed means more results in less time.
  • Speck expanded its case offerings today for iPhone 3G and iPhone with the announcement of QwickDraw. The new holster-style case, available now, features super secure Speck “Qwick Latch” technology that keeps your phone locked in place so it wont fall out, even during the most rigorous of activities.
  • Ivory Tiles is a refreshingly creative new game from master puzzle creator Mung Qi Fun. It’s perfect for passing the time and challenging your puzzle solving skills. Developed specifically for the tilt capabilities of the iphone and iPod Touch, this original creation has you guiding ivory tiles around over 80 uniquely crafted game boards. Touch control also provided.
  • Candywriter has announced the release of My Lease Miles (App Store link) for iPhone/iPod touch. My Lease Miles is a simple but elegant auto lease mileage calculator that allows you to stay on top of your allotted miles. Use My Lease Miles on your iPhone or iPod touch to make sure you are getting your money’s worth on your lease by not going too far under or over your allotted miles.
  • MotionX-Poker Quest is the sequel to the popular and critically acclaimed MotionX-Poker. It includes improved graphics and gameplay features which add an incredible amount of depth to an already feature-rich game. It also adds an improved physics engine that allows for more realistic rolls.
  • Vuzix Corporation has released the new VR920 Version 2.4 Software. Winner of the 2008 CES Innovation award, the VR920 is the world’s first fully immersive virtual reality iWear complete with head-tracking and 3D capabilities. The new v2.4 software offers virtual reality head-tracking and 3D support for the latest releases of World of Warcraft and Second Life. Additionally, Vuzix has increased head-tracking stability and title support to even further expand the reach and compatibility of the VR920.
