  • Useful Fruit Software is has announce Pear Note 1.1, the latest version of their note-taking utility for Mac OS X. At its core, Pear Note integrates audio, video, and slides with traditional text notes and stores all of this on a timeline for easy navigation. Pear Note 1.1 adds the ability to share notes with others by exporting text, audio, or video. Also new, users can import externally recorded audio or video.
  • Tag Games has announced the release of their latest title for iPhone/iPod Touch: All Stars Quarterback. This is the second in the All Stars Sports series of games, all of which take place either in or around the All Stars Sports bar and grill. If you like football and smashing things up, then All Stars QB will be just the game you’re looking for.
  • Makayama Software has released Barfly, their GPS-enabled travel guide to trendy bars and cool clubs around the globe. It lets you find the world’s best bars and clubs at the touch of a finger. Based on your location, it will list the nearest hip bar, from New York to London, Bangkok to Barcelona, L.A. to Amsterdam and 114 other cities. There’s never a dull moment with this location-based nightlife tool.
  • Ben Software has announced the release of SecuritySpy 1.6.1, an update to the premier multi-camera video surveillance software on the Macintosh platform. With features such as motion detection, real-time compression of multiple video and audio feeds, and network video streaming, SecuritySpy is designed for demanding video surveillance applications.
  • Readdle has announced the release of its brand new Take A Note iPhone application. Take A Note overcomes two major limitations of the built-in iPhone Notes by providing access to notes from any Macintosh or Windows computer. Take A Note supports voice, drawing and photo memos in addition to text notes. Users can copy whole folders with text, sound or image files to their devices and they will be instantly transformed into new notes.
  • Synium Software has announced the public beta version of iFinance 3. iFinance 3 is a major leap for Synium’s personal financial management software, and offers a comprehensive approach to managing personal finances. iFinance 3 conveniently manages the entire cash flow and structures expenses by categories. For a seamless transition, iFinance 3 imports all files from iFinance 2.
  • In the first example of direct collaboration between two developers on an iPhone application, FaceMelter’s creator has used Smule’s innovative mobile audio platform in the new application Electric Smoke (App Store link).
  • Synium Software has released their first game for iPhone and iPod touch. Motocross is an exciting racing game in the good tradition of arcade classics. In Motocross, the player controls a motorbike with the built-in motion sensor of iPhone and iPod touch, climbing steep montains, mastering fast-paced hillsides, and steering through deserts, jungles and picturesque suburbs. Shaky bridges and huge canyons have to be crossed with daring jumps and somersaults.
  • Jumsoft has announced the release of a free Christmas pack, which includes 20 cliparts, and 2 iWeb, 1 keynote and 8 Mail Stationery themes. Whether the presentation, email, or particular Web site is entertaining, technical, scientific, or educational, Jumsoft suggests you use a Christmas pack and states that the Christmas and the New Year’s atmosphere is great for any activity.
  • 360Works has announced the launch of its 360Works Portfolio License, a comprehensive product bundle that includes all the company’s most popular plug-ins and tools. The new 360Works FileMaker Product Bundle provides FileMaker developers and consultants with 360Works product discounts, convenience and early access to unreleased and upcoming products.
  • FMWebschool is offering a sale on almost all of their products. 10% of each sale will be dontated to the children’s hospital in Costa Rica. Everyone that takes part in this sale will be placed on the FMWebschool website and on the card that we present to the hospital. Many of these children have absolutely nothing but the clothes on their backs, and we would like to buy them toys, slippers, new pajamas and books.
  • MacZOT will be featuring Objective Decision’s Contactizer Pro for 50% on December 20th and Sunday December 21th. Moreover, Maczot buyers will receive a free and automatic upgrade to version 3.7 when it becomes available next month. MacZOT is known for offering great Mac apps at incredibly reduced prices, but for one weekend only. This offer ends at Sunday midnight tonight Pacific Daylight Time.
  • TimeXchange is changing the way individuals and teams submit, route, approve and collect project time-tracking details. Part social network and part online application, the free web-based utility facilitates communication and collaboration among everyone involved—to reduce the headaches and manual work typically associated with the time reporting and approval processes.
  • Ambrosia Software, Inc. has announced the release of Snapz Pro X 2.1.3. This updated version reduces CPU usage dramatically when recording audio along with other enhancements and fixes.
