  • Zevrix Solutions has announced the release of BatchOutput DOC 2, which provides advanced solutions for demanding enterprise and office publishing environments through automation of printing and PDF output. With BatchOutput DOC, users only need to select the files they wish to output and adjust the settings, and BatchOutput will do the rest automatically. And because BatchOutput can run in the background, it enables users to output large jobs efficiently without monopolizing a workstation.
  • uncomplex has released Mailplane 2.0. Acting as a site specific web browser for Google’s Gmail, Mailplane is a full fledged Mail client for the Desktop. It fully integrates the Gmail web interface into the Mac experience, offering users the best of both worlds. Version 2.0 sports many new features, including full Gmail 2 support, new Gmail add-ons and keyboard shortcuts, better account notifications, more ways to create email attachments, plus a new OmniFocus plugin.
  • iPresentee, the developer of add-ons for Apple’s iWork and iLife applications, has released free Christmas Mail Stationery templates to be used with Apple’s Mail software. New Mail Stationery package includes ten wonderful templates: Santa Claus Letter, New Year’s Day, Christmas Wreath, Merry Christmas, Gift, Snowman, Christmas Letter, Christmas Socks, Santa Claus and Christmas Tree.
  • Enabling Labs today announced “Fabulous Christmas Greetings” for iPhone and iPod Touch.   • Plantronics, Inc. now offers Macintosh compatibility for the Calisto Pro system, a home cordless phone with an integrated Bluetooth headset that simplifies communications for professionals who work from home. The new Calisto Pro for Mac software allows users to import Apple Address Book contacts to the phone and take calls over Skype through a USB connection.
  • Enabling TV fans both to schedule in the programmes that they like and discover new programmes that they might like, Tioti TV+ from Vizimo (App Store link) went live in the App Store today.
  • Truphone has added Truphone Anywhere functionality to its iPhone application, enabling users to make international calls across the internet for as little as £0.03/$0.06 [UK/Rest of World] per minute even when they’re not connected to the internet. Inbound Truphone calling on the iPhone is also added for the first time, making it possible to enjoy completely free Truphone calls between two iPhones.
  • Chooseco LLC and Magnetism Studios have announced the publication of two titles in the classic Choose Your Own Adventure series for the iPhone. The joint venture is releasing Journey Under the Sea and Return to Atlantis on Tuesday December 10th.
