  • From award-winning filmmakers Hunter Weeks and Josh Caldwell (10 MPH, 2007) comes the hilarious, offbeat feature-length film about the world of fantasy football. “10 Yards: Fantasy Football” releases worldwide today, August 21, 2008. Two sites will host the unique online worldwide premiere: OurStage.com, a community supporting independent artists will offer a free iTunes download of the film for two weeks beginning August 21, 2008, while SnagFilms.com will stream the film for free and allow for viral sharing via its “virtual movie theater” widgets. The conventional nationwide DVD release will follow, September 30, 2008.
  • Swiss luxury designer and jeweler Knalihs Athem’s newest creation is a diamond encrusted Apple iPhone 3G. This exclusive limited edition phone is encrusted with more than 475 of the finest quality, brilliant-cut diamonds that weigh 3.75 carats in total. Only 50 such handsets will be created worldwide. Each handset is accompanied by appropriate and official diamond grading report from a gemological lab.
  • Mariner Software, developers and publishers of professional and personal software, announced today the release of MacJournal 5.1, the world’s most popular journaling and blogging software for Mac OS X. MacJournal 5.1 is the latest release in Mariner Software’s award-winning line of personal creativity software and includes French, German, Italian, Japanese, Spanish, and Dutch localizations, as well as several new features and bug fixes. It also completes the .Mac to MobileMe transition.
  • Readdle has announced the release of ReaddleDocs, a complete document and file management solution for the iPhone and iPod Touch. With ReaddleDocs anyone can transfer files from Windows, Mac or Linux computer to the iPhone and iPod Touch devices, view them on the go, send by e-mail and more.
  • Axamblis has announced the release of Imprint Studio 1.0 for Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard. Imprint Studio is a tool that allows you to print posters using a standard format printer by splitting up an image into several smaller tiles, which can then be printed and assembled to form the final poster. Imprint Studio offers an easy-to-use interface and addresses hobby photographers as well as professionals of the metier.
