  • MacsDesign Studio LLC, developers of the leading cross-platform help desk software solution, Web Help Desk, today announced the availability of Version 9, a major update to its flagship service management solution. Web Help Desk Software Version 9 adds rules-based voting and approval process for change requests, an extensible plug-in architecture for popular 3rd party asset management tools, and an AJAX enhanced user interface. Version 9 remains truly cross-platform, with server side installers for Mac OS X Server, Windows Server, Linux, and Unix.
  • Boston-based MediaSilo, the online video management and collaboration leader, has eliminated browser-based upload limitations with an integrated FTP solution. The new feature allows video file upload without regard to file size.
  • TeamViewer GmbH, a leading provider of solutions for online communication and collaboration, now offers a Host Module enabling the control of unattended remote computers. Easily executable, this solution connects two computers, without manual confirmation of the unattended computer, while maintaining the highest security standards.
  • Ohanaware, a new company specializing in photo software products announced the immediate availability of their flagship product, Funtastic Photos. Funtastic Photos is a non-destructive and fully reversible photo editor, with easy to use 1-Click Styles, Advanced Effect engine, direct sharing via Fun Cards, Cell Phone (inc. iPhone) and popular photo sharing sites. Funtastic Photos features a creative print layouts system, with awe-inspiring projects.
  • bambooapps has announced the release of Keep Your Word 1.0 for Mac OS X Leopard. Are you studying a new language? Your class notebook is an endless list of words that you have to learn? The new version includes improvements to the core functionality as well as several new features, including single-click content publishing and re-ordering, an enhanced Plugin API (application programming interface) and simplified module placement and publishing.
