  • Brian Wurster has released Tangrams for the iPhone. Tangrams a modern version of the classic Chinese puzzle game that challenges your mind as you attempt to arrange the seven shapes, called “tans,” into a variety of forms. The puzzles themselves often represent animals and people, as well as many other interesting shapes.
  • Falkon Ware’s new SerialMailer 5.7 comes with a built-in mail server. Bulk mails can now be posted directly from any Mac running OS X 10.4 Tiger and above simply by choosing the “Local Server” option. A regular mail account is no longer necessary.
  • Destineer’s MacSoft unit announced today that the Macintosh version of Age of Empires III: The Asian Dynasties, the second expansion pack for Ensemble Studios’ award-winning strategy game, is in stores now. Age of Empires III: The Asian Dynasties brings new playable civilizations, new units, campaigns, game modes, and more to the award-winning Age of Empires III gameplay.
  • Divergent Media announced today the immediate availability of ClipWrap, a Macintosh application that batch converts m2t files to QuickTime HDV files for immediate editing.
  • Dockland Software has announced Fantasktik, their innovative taskbar application for Mac OS X Leopard. Displaying a clean and sleek user interface, Fantasktik is a powerful tool allowing users to easily see and switch between open windows and applications. Based on Mac OS X philosophy, Fantasktik groups windows by application. Double-clicking on an application icon provides a way to manage the taskbar real-estate by collapsing and expanding the windows associated with the application.
  • Join FMPug founder Andy Gaunt for a live presentation of FMTouch, the application that brings your FileMaker data to your iPhone or iPod Touch on Thursday, August 21st at 1pm EDT. Find out just how touchable your database could be. When was the last time you “touched” your database? If you use FileMaker Pro and you have an Apple iPhone or iPod Touch, you can transfer that fully relational database to your iPhone or iPod.
