Last week at CES our parent site Gadgetell had a crew covering the event, live blogging keynotes, showing off cool gadgets, etc. Well in all that hustle and bustle, one of our crew members had a small information exchange with a fairly credible source about Apple’s soon to be released MacBook Pros.
We were told that Apple’s new MacBook Pros will (for sure) include solid state drives. Now, our crew member has faith in this source, so we’re going to go along and trust his judgment on this one. We were not given a date on when the update would happen, it could be at Macworld, it could be the week after. Image above is a hint.
When you look at it as a whole, the size of solid state drives are getting larger and larger and would make sense for Apple to put in the MacBook Pros. If not in the base model, then as an upgrade option. We’re just over 24 hours away from the Stevenote, so it will be interesting to see how it all turns out and what gets released, and what doesn’t.
Be sure to check out our live coverage of Macworld 2008. We’ll be live-blogging, twittering, and will attempt to get an audio feed from the event. Be sure to subscribe to our RSS feed, and stay tuned for what’s going down tomorrow.
