Macbook Air

Steve Jobs just announced at MacWorld 2008 a 0.16” thick MacBook Air. Yes, it is using the MacBook Air name and the audience seems to love it.

It has a full size 13.3” LED backlit display, iSight camera, and a fullsize keyboard. Steve says it’s the best they’ve ever shipped. Has a multi-touch trackpad!

You can move a window by double-tap and move. Rotate a photo by pivoting your index finger around your thumb. Includes pinch-zoom!

80GB hard drive, 64GB solid state drive option. 1.6GHz standard, 1.8GHz option Intel Core 2 Duo.

Processor is as thin as a nickle and wide as a dime! 45 watt MagSafe, 1 USB 2.0 port, Micro-DVi, and Audio-out.

Note: Looks like the weird designs!

802.11n + Bluetooth, and 5 hours of battery life!

I think you made a typo.  It’s actually 0.76 inches wide, not 0.16

  • Adam said:

Yeah, it should be noted that it ranges from 0.16” to 0.76” inches in height.
