OfficeTime time tracker updated to v1.3.2

by Josh Holat on Jun 19, 2008 at 08:54 PM

OfficeTimeTranscena Design has released v1.3.2 of their Mac time tracking software, OfficeTime. With over thirty improvements simply to make the software run faster, this update is being called the Speed and Stability Release (Snow Leopard, anyone?). Most of these improvements are in response to requests by OfficeTime users, and it’s good to know that the developers over at Transcena have been listening. If you don’t currently have this time tracking and saving application, it will run you $47 once your 21 day free trial is up.

If this isn’t enough to convince you to try out the app, here are some of its features:

  • Automatically detect how long you’ve been idle and subtract it or assign it to a different project.
  • iCal Integration allows you to see a visual history or your days in your favourite iCal calendar. Enter appointments and time in iCal and have them automatically apply to the right project in OfficeTime.
  • Team Reporting combines multiple employee data files, allowing you to see powerful team wide reports by project and category.
  • Multitasker provides the ability to time multiple projects simultaneously.

This app sounds like it would be really helpful in an office environment to keep track of the time spent working. It comes with plenty of features that all seem easy to use and helpful. Not only that, but it integrates with other Mac apps and can be easily shared with co-workers. So, go ahead; download the trial and get a trackin’!
