We know. Podcasts are so last year - but this one you won't want to miss. Whether it’s a rumor that won’t die, a new product announcement, or just a really good Macintosh or iPhone app find that we have to let you know about, we’ll make sure it’s covered on Appletellcast.
iPhone App Reviews
iPhone Apps. They were great when the App Store was first announced and we could all pick and chose what we wanted, but the number is now overwhelming. Here at Appletell, we'll detail the great iPhone apps we find, and steer you clear from those that aren't worth it even if they're free.
iPhone Game Reviews
As Apple turns the iPhone into one of the most popular gaming devices, the staff of Appletell--gamers and Apple fans alike--are here to help you get the most entertainment value out of your app store purchases.

We expected this to happen. With the anticipation, excitement and hype building up as the WWDC approaches, an iPhone fan leaked faked photos of the supposedly new iPhone. Actually, CrunchGear was the first to break the news, claiming it the images arrived in their e-mail inbox. They put a watermark on the photos, and, soon enough, it started hitting the blogsphere, including a hit in Techmeme.
So, what do we know about the new iPhone based on these leaked photos? 3G, red iPhone version, front facing camera for iChat feature, thinner than the older version. Basically, that’s it. Not too much detail, of course, as it would just give away the fact that those photos are fake and are all part of some iPhone fanboy’s desire to create a stir in the already stirred-up community of iPhone fanboys like us.
Incidentally, this is not the first time CrunchGear broke this kind of juicy item. Not so long ago, they posted images of a then unreleased photo of the 3rd gen iPod nano. That time, Apple’s legal office asked them to take down the images. We guess this won’t happen this time as certainly Apple will not take photos as fake as these seriously. And besides, it’s barely two days before big event on Monday, so all the Apple guys must be pretty busy right now preparing for Monday’s keynote.
Anyway, it’s all fun; a good way to end this pretty exciting week in “Apple-landia.”
