LittleSnapper 1.0 released into the wild

by Alec Feld on Dec 12, 2008 at 09:50 AM

LittleSnapperScreenshots seem to be all the rage nowadays; Realmac Software realized this and started building an app designed specifically for screenshots, LittleSnapper. Although the app was in beta for a good amount of time, LittleSnapper seems to have had (most) of its bugs fixed and has been released to the public in a 1.0 non-beta version. LittleSnapper isn’t used just for screenshots of your desktop, it’s used for screenshots of web pages and other windows with important information in them. Plug-ins aren’t required for taking screenshots of web pages; simply hit a keyboard shortcut or the menubar icon, and done, the web page has been fully captured in a screenshot. You can also capture the code of webpages for archive use, use a DOM selector, apply quick edits to images, and organize screenshots in the application itself. Once captured, images can be upload to any FTP server, Flickr, or QuickSnapper, a new service specifically designed to work with LittleSnapper.

Sadly, this utility isn’t going to run you cheap. Single user licenses are up for grabs at $39.99, which include free upgrades until version 2.0.
