Know someone who doesn’t fit the mold? Here are some great gift ideas.
Most large corporations (including Apple) like to file us away into a demographic. Usually it’s an age thing, but who aside from them really knows how they classify us. Well, if they have one for a thirty-something, Harley riding, heavy metal guitar playing, half tattooed Apple Fanboy/geek, then I’m there. I am sure most of you do not fit into any of the molds that Corporate America puts us in, so I would like to share with you my Apple wish list this holiday season, and hopefully it will give you a few ideas for your loved ones also. Most of the items in this list will be very inexpensive, because a lot of us are holding our money close to us this holiday season due to the unstable economy. I would classify these as stocking stuffers.
- Apple baseball cap. - I have a hat on more than I don’t, and this would just be cool to have. Missingbite.com offers several Apple branded products from which you can choose.
- Apple keyboard - I am sure there are people out there like me who are forced to use a Windows machine in their place of work. An Apple keyboard would make me feel a little more at home there.
- Apple stickers - Again with the Missing Bite right? I cannot help it; it is a really cool site with really cool stuff. Nuff said. (Yes I have an Apple sticker on my Harley.)
- Drum loops - Obviously this one is geared towards musicians. All of Acid’s loops are compatible with Garageband and are available for download or via mail order CD.
- Headphones - These are excellent headphone for $39.99 MSRP. They have a live, rich sound and don’t bleed to the surroundings as badly as more expensive head phone sets.
Well I hope this gives you a couple gift ideas you might not have already considered. Anyone else have any good ideas? I would love to hear them.
