iPhone Game Reviews
As Apple turns the iPhone into one of the most popular gaming devices, the staff of Appletell--gamers and Apple fans alike--are here to help you get the most entertainment value out of your app store purchases.

Earlier this week, I wrote about what roles the iPhone and Amazon Kindle play in allowing us to access our favorite content. Well, now it seems as if Amazon has decided to turn your iPhone into an actual Kindle 2. If their new Kindle iPhone application (iTunes App Store link) is any hint at what they have in mind, then it’s going to be good. Although this application doesn’t allow you to buy content straight from it (yet), you are able to use Safari to actually purchase the content. However, don’t let that sway you, this app is pretty awesome.
The software, which Amazon says it has been working on for months, allows users of the iPhone who already have a Kindle to sync their books over to their iPhone to read them. This allows readers to see color images, whereas the Kindle can only display a 16 bit gray scale, but it does not contain the infamous text to speech aspect of the ebooks. However, with this app already as useful as it is in the first version, it’s going to be extremely interesting to see what Amazon does next.
